What are some of the main responsibilities within your current role?
My current role is chief of staff for the senior director of the department. I work in the North America product and field marketing team.
In my role, I help with my senior director's needs and oversee the department budget, which is currently around $1.3 million. I also assist with strategic initiatives throughout the department, one of which is the website.
Our department is structured with multiple verticals, about five in total. Anything that crosses more than one vertical falls under my purview. The website is a significant strategy for us.
We also conduct numerous trade shows throughout the year. I manage these programs, which involves compiling information, organizing, and scheduling meetings. Additionally, I assist with any ad hoc projects that arise or any other support the senior director needs.
