Favorite Parts Of Being A Chief Of Staff Finance At PagerDuty
Andrew, PagerDuty's Chief of Staff, Finance, loves being "at the heart of the company," actively participating in strategy creation and execution, building processes from the ground up, and witnessing their impact—including successes and failures. This central role allows for a deep understanding of the company's operations and the development of its "infrastructure," from communication to problem-solving.

What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
This is a great question, and people should take time to reflect on it. I love being at the heart of the company, seeing how it operates, how we create and execute our strategy, and how our finances influence our decisions.
It's fascinating and fun to be a part of seeing the company at its core, how it's run at the highest levels. But it's not just about observing; I also get to be involved.
I create many processes and build things from scratch, then watch them take flight and succeed. Sometimes they fail, and that's okay.
Being at the heart of building the company's infrastructure, how people communicate, find information, and solve problems – that's what I really enjoy about the Chief of Staff role.
