What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
It's really a sense of purpose. It's about being a part of something bigger.
Even when you're working on a comparatively mundane part of an issue, you are still working on a bigger scale for a bigger picture. This is true when working for the Department of Defense.
At one level, I've worked on fairly significant issues that were a big part of national security. Now, I sometimes work further down the road, but it's still part of the mission and the Department of Defense. It brings you back to work every day knowing you're working for something that's important.
