How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
There's no typical profile; whatever industry you want to pursue, you can. There are no specific characteristics that personify someone or a group of people to be successful.
For example, on Wall Street, you might think you have to be super smart and aggressive. I'm just throwing ideas out there.
I think it's more about having those intangible skills. You need to be a good human being, a mensch, and work hard. These are the things you'd expect.
You don't need deep knowledge in biological sciences, pharmaceuticals, or medicine. I think you need experience and drive. You need motivation and accountability.
These are the things that will allow you to thrive anywhere, including my industry. So again, there are no typical characteristics.
