What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
Time management. There is not enough time in the day to juggle everything. I would say it's time management.
We've got a lot of pressures on us to record an insane amount of dialogue, depending on the game. It's hard to get it all done.
Back in the day, games used to be what we call line books of battle chatter. Things like, "Grenade down. He's at my 12 o'clock. He's on my sixth." Very simple dialogue.
Now, they're stories like you wouldn't believe. It takes a lot more time and effort to put them together, understand them, and make them one cohesive package, like a film. So that takes time.
I just don't think there's enough time in the day to create it. That is the most challenging part.
