As someone who identifies as female, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
As someone who identifies as female, in the business world, and specifically accounting, you can be in a male-dominated industry or team. Things that I have found helpful are to really be my authentic self. Truly, just bring your authentic self to the table.
In addition to being authentic, I think another item would be to be direct. Be direct with what you know, what you don't know, and what you're still learning.
With that, being as knowledgeable as you can, doing research, and coming to the table with an opinion has been really helpful for me.
