What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
I was very involved in my undergrad. I came in as a Division I athlete, which taught me how to manage my time and learn around that schedule.
I ended up leaving the team early to pursue more academic opportunities. I was part of an exclusive board that managed part of the university's endowment.
I also had a fellowship in communications. There, I helped other students with writing and launched the business communications course, which became a requirement for all incoming freshmen to the business school.
I pursued an honors thesis in macroeconomics, focusing on federal reserve policy and its effects on the stock market. I also tutored in macroeconomics.
In addition, my father and I launched our firm, and I was working there gaining real-world experience. I spent every summer doing that as well.
