What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I think having a direct impact on the business is something that has been really meaningful for me. As a consultant, I spent a lot of time making slide decks and presenting recommendations, but I never knew if they were being implemented, or if I was doing a good job.
Being able to have a lot of responsibility and really feel like I'm building this company with my co-workers has been really fulfilling and rewarding. It's what keeps me driven.
Obviously, there's a financial outcome if we're successful, but the challenge of it has also been really fun. I also get to interact with people all the time.
I'm talking to customers and I'm talking to our engineers. That has been really enjoyable, particularly working remotely and not feeling isolated.
