What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

The biggest thing I did, though it's not strictly school-related, was to put myself in a position to get an internship after my junior year. I believe that's the most important thing you can do.

You'll be working in the real world a lot more than you'll be in college. So, getting an idea of what a field you're interested in is actually like is much more important than any class you can take.

I did my internship and a whole bunch of different activities. One of those activities ended up being pretty much what I based my whole job search around. Two years down the line, I'm still enjoying it.

If I hadn't had that experience, I don't think I would have gone into the field I'm in right now. I wouldn't have known what I liked or disliked. So, putting yourself in the best position to get an internship or any sort of job experience before you graduate is the number one thing I'd recommend to any undergraduate.
