What do you enjoy most about being in the education industry?
Education, I feel, was the start of everything. I think that's mostly where we learn everything we know as adults. It's a huge part of how we grow into the people we become.
It affects so much, from how our government operates to how we fix big issues like climate change or income inequality. I love to feel like I'm part of the beginnings of things.
That's just always been a part of my DNA. Ever since I started school, I just loved starting things. I loved being someone who helps found something or helps something get off the ground.
Working in education and the nonprofit sector, you definitely feel that. It's a really exciting industry to be in.
