What are some of the biggest challenges in your current role?
It's not easy. I think any time you're in nonprofit work, especially in an ambitious organization like Ednovate, you're trying to make huge change. Ednovate's mission is to create positive, multi-generational change by changing the American report card.
This feels like second nature to me now, but it's a huge responsibility and a huge effort we are trying to accomplish. It's a lot of different work and many hats to wear, but I think that's part of the fun.
At the end of the day, you can look back on all the work you've accomplished in a year and feel proud. I had a key hand in helping change the American report card.
In other situations, I may not have had the privilege to gain so many different experiences or lead a recruitment strategy. For a young professional, it's a really cool opportunity.
