What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?

Typically, in the consulting industry, regardless of firm type, whether it's a management consulting firm, financial advisory, or anything else, the entry-level positions are usually Associate Consultant or Business Analyst. This applies to Big Four firms, top-tier management consulting firms (often called MBB), or second-tier consulting firms.

Each company might use different terms for these entry-level roles, but they are generally Associate or Business Analyst. Associates or Analysts aren't expected to know a lot, as they've just graduated from college.

However, these entry-level positions are expected to perform and integrate their prior consulting experience with their undergraduate learning. It's therefore very important for them to learn.

They should do so while working on consulting projects and consider how they can apply what they've learned in college to those projects.
