What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

I think you have to be acting and in your career for the long haul. Just assume that you're going to be in this business surrounded by the same people for a long time.

You want to treat everyone with respect. You don't want to lose your temper. You want to treat everyone as if you're going to be doing business with them for a long time, because you probably are.

And that's the best way to have a successful career. So if something doesn't go your way on a particular deal or project with a particular person, and you don't like the way it happened, I'd say you just want to treat them with respect and act as if they're going to be your partner in the future.

Because that usually will happen if they liked the way you've treated them. If you got rejected or something and you acted in a mature way, most likely, you're going to get another chance to work with this person.
