Main Responsibilities of an Account Manager at Wish

Some of my main responsibilities as an account manager involve interacting and building relationships with merchants on our platform. In my case, I mostly worked with larger, enterprise-level clients. These are clients who already have a brand presence on other platforms and a history of being well-known.

These clients also tend to do well in terms of sales year over year. So that's one of my main responsibilities. I act as their advisor and provide suggestions based on their store's performance, guiding them through our platform.

They have access to a merchant dashboard interface where they can input information. Internally, I also work with our product and engineering teams on troubleshooting cases or product feature initiatives.

For example, if we're launching a new feature based on user or merchant feedback, we'll discuss and collaborate to develop it, or even conduct user interviews. So that's another responsibility of mine.

Lastly, I mentor coworkers and incoming interns for the summer. I take pride in mentoring and helping others whenever I can. So that's another responsibility of mine.
