What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I most enjoy the autonomy I have in my role. I kind of direct my own schedule based on my merchant's needs. This makes things a little more flexible in terms of arranging call times or meeting times.
I also like the team-based aspect of being an account manager. I work with other account managers on my team on larger initiatives, or with product, engineering, and design.
I often review wireframes and provide feedback. I work with our design team to improve or hone in on designs that would be used on certain features of our platform.
I'd also say the client-facing nature of the role is enjoyable. I think building and maintaining relationships is something I really value. I feel like that's the core of being an account manager, and it's probably one of the most important and enjoyable things in my time at Wish.
