Could you walk me through your career path? I'm interested in your experiences in college, any internships, or jobs you held before your current role.
I would say I took a pretty atypical route. I studied neuroscience in college thinking I would go into medical school or research after graduating.
But then I took on some internship roles during the semester in my undergrad program as well as a summer. These roles were related to marketing, business, and startups. I think that's what helped me propel to the current industry, or most recent industry that I was in, which is e-commerce and online retail.
From there, I worked at Walmart slash jet.com for around two years in a variety of roles. One was in category management and another was in site merchandising. All of which provided a lot of experience and learnings.
That led me to Wish.com, working more in business development and account management. I really enjoyed more of the client-facing aspects of my role, interacting with merchants and helping them grow on the platform.
