What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

One lesson I've learned in my career is to just keep going. I have a saying that I constantly follow: "If there's no wind, then row."

This means that if you're not catching the wind in your sail, you have to do the hard work and row yourself there. I've learned that there have been times when there hasn't been wind in my sail.

Instead of jumping ship, I stayed true to the process and did the work. I rowed hard and worked really, really hard.

When you're at a crossroads and feel like there's no wind in your sail, giving up isn't the answer. Digging deep and pushing yourself to your limits, working harder, and being more creative is how you find that wind.
