What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
In my undergrad, I was constantly reading and working with businesses. I was developing ideas, attending meetups, and collaborating with people outside of school to understand how the real and business worlds operate.
My focus in undergrad was really on networking and understanding what was happening in that space. I was a big fan of never letting an opportunity pass me by.
If I had the chance to attend a tech meetup, meet someone new, or do something for free to learn, I took it. While learning in the classroom and getting a solid grasp of the basics is phenomenal, it's the extra efforts and networking that truly teach you how things work.
