Something I've learned, or perhaps something I already knew but has become extremely evident, is that diversity is super important. This applies to hiring and to teams.
It's important for me to work within a diverse team and be part of a diverse group. It's also important to try and bring diversity to our clients.
As a recruiter, the impact you can have on the future of a business you're working with is amazing. I've literally built teams at companies, and it's extremely rewarding to try and increase diversity in that way.
I've honestly seen that the companies we partner with that have more diverse teams end up being more successful. So that's huge and something I see all the time; it's pretty cool.
