Transcript
What definitely set me up for success in recruitment when I was an undergrad were the internships I did at NHR, you know, at the time.
I wasn't even considering a career in HR, but I've always loved the people part of things. It always came a little more naturally to me than the business side.
I just kind of gravitated towards that. It says a lot about staying in touch with people and reaching out to them throughout your career.
Networking is huge because without reaching back out to the HR Director I reported into for those internships, I wouldn't have started on this recruitment journey. So definitely keep your relationships strong and network.
