What skills are most important for a job like yours?
I would say definitely not being afraid to communicate. I have to ask a lot of questions to my boss, but I'm not afraid to do it at this point because I don't want to make any mistakes.
Since it is so client-facing, I don't want to say the wrong thing and have the customer think the wrong thing. So I'm always asking questions or being very communicative to the customer too.
If there's something wrong, I'll communicate that to them in the best way possible. I would also say being a people person and being able to talk to people, and putting the best face on for a customer again, because it is client-facing.
Just being able to talk and express your enthusiasm toward them, and try to show that you're trying to make them happy and have the best experience with the company.
Lastly, I would say organized, because like I said, I'm answering emails all day. So being able to stay on top of everyone is important.
There are people who will call and say, "I was talking to you on email, this is blah blah blah." And I'll think, "I don't know who you are, so you need to remind me again." But being able to stay organized and know what I'm doing every second of the day is definitely helpful.
