What do you enjoy most about being in this industry?
Some of my favorite things about the higher education industry are that the work is highly fulfilling and impactful to the community around you. I definitely feel a sense of purpose in my day-to-day work.
This allows me to stay motivated and come up with innovative ways to solve challenges that better serve the constituents I interact with. It does not feel like there's one day that tends to feel like a burden.
The fact that we're having an impact, and also having been in the position of a student who was struggling with their career and not knowing what they wanted to do, definitely helps me stay motivated in the role. I'm also really excited to go into the office every day.
