What does a day in the life of a business owner look like?

I went from working eight to five to basically 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It doesn't feel heavy because I enjoy it. If I get a text at night and my client was working all day, that's when he can text me, and I want to respond.

As long as it doesn't take away from my family or dinner, there are certain boundaries. My morning starts with dropping off the kids and coming into the office. We decided that as moms, we need to get away from home and be in an office setting.

Everybody shows up, we gather for a "good morning," and ask "how was your day?" Then everyone checks their calendar, email, voicemails, and gets back to anyone who is pressing.

If one of my girls needs help with a client, we set the time and take care of things instantly. We don't say, "we'll talk about it tomorrow." We try to tackle things as they come so we're not feeling overwhelmed.
