What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
That's a great question. I do a lot of things. If you get into the nonprofit sector, you'll wear so many hats.
The biggest one usually relates to fundraising because without money, your operation isn't going to run. So valuable skills are networking, graphic design, and communicating via writing and verbally.
You'll wear so many hats, but you definitely want to work on your composure in stressful situations. You want to make sure you're passionate about what you're working on.
Just try your best to up your writing and communication skills and get any experience you can managing teams and staff.
