What entry-level positions in this field might an undergraduate college student consider?
I just mentioned the commercial leadership program at General Electric. I think that is the best program for new college grads entering medical sales.
As far as other things, if you can get an internship related to healthcare, even working in hospitals, it's massively important. If you want to specifically go into medical imaging, it's great to be an imaging technologist and know how to use the equipment.
People who work in that environment have a leg up. If they are good at sales and are a technologist, it's really effective. They can speak as a peer, have the credibility of being a peer, and they tend to be very successful.
