What are your main responsibilities in your current role as Recruitment Communications Manager?

My responsibilities are a little all over the place, and I think that's what I love. It's been little parts of various people's jobs that as they've left, other things started to unfold and people have taken on new responsibilities. All those pieces have culminated into the role that I'm currently holding.

I'm doing things like writing emails. I'm in charge of all our external communications with our candidates and any prospects we have. I also work very closely with our marketing team to do website updates and asset creations.

If we need something to post on LinkedIn, for example, I'm working with them to make sure we can get that. Then, I write all the copy that goes with that post. I'm also in charge of our internal communications to our employees, specifically anything relating to open roles or referrals.

I'm in charge of all the rules for a company with our current and former employees as well. I also do a lot of responding to outreach. We might send a hundred thousand emails or send them through a specific channel, and then I'll go in and support with responding, making sure we're getting people to attend our events or answering any questions they might have.
