What does a day in the life of an account manager look like?
The day is a mix of client meetings, internal meetings, and collaboration with different teams. Typically, I start by checking and responding to urgent client emails. Then, I prepare for the client meetings scheduled for the day, usually two to three of them.
After that, I join client calls. For initial calls of the quarter, we discuss plans and key campaigns. We also conduct quarterly business reviews to go over ad performance and identify areas for improvement.
There are also frequent performance check-ins. After client calls, internal team meetings might follow to discuss ongoing projects. For example, we might work on a task force to promote business messaging adoption in Thailand, collaborating with internal teams on strategy.
Later, I allocate time for troubleshooting client issues. This can involve technical glitches, ad approval problems, or similar concerns. I end the day by wrapping up tasks and preparing reports for the following day's client meetings.
