I would say that you don't have to like everyone, and maybe you're going to find a lot of people who are going to be against what you think and the way you perform things. That's completely fine.
Maybe you're going to find a lot of people who would love to get your role and they're going to say so many things trying to affect you. You should always be confident of what you're doing and attached to your values.
This way, you ensure you are always keeping true to yourself and not changing because of someone else.
