Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?

I came from an untraditional background into college. I always wanted to go to design school, as I've been heavily involved in the arts. However, the more practical side of me was unsure how that would pan out.

When I went to Northeastern in Boston, I chose to study marketing. There, I discovered a combined major with interactive media, which was awesome. I got to explore UX and UI, and learn all the Adobe software alongside my primary focus in marketing.

From there, my goal was to build up my resume. I didn't feel I had enough experience or legitimacy post-graduation. My first internship was with Liberty Mutual and State Street. I completed two six-month co-op programs there through Northeastern, handling everything from email marketing to events. It was a great opportunity to experience the corporate world at larger companies.

My teams were fantastic and gave me a lot of freedom to learn what I wanted. After graduation, I continued on my marketing path. I was a marketing specialist at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, an excellent company now known as Point 32 Health.

There, I participated in a rotational program where I worked with PR, events, marketing, and research. I primarily worked with the digital marketing team, managing web content for all our company's digital assets.

This experience led to my current role as digital media manager at M mss. With a team of four or five, we manage everything you see on mss.com. It's rewarding because our work is very tangible. That's my current career trajectory.

Outside of work, I was heavily involved in rugby. I helped revamp the rugby website and social content. I applied skills I learned from my corporate jobs and school to help these rugby teams. It was a great exchange of transferable skills.
