What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
My current industry is split between technology and software, and the real estate and mortgage side of the house. I'd say the most enjoyment I get about the industry in general is when it surprises me.
When I joined, I knew nothing about mortgages or loans, specifically not into the weeds as I do now. I took the time to learn and educate myself, and I'm always still learning about it. It's really fascinating, and I think that's true with most industries.
My previous industry was in travel and also software and technology. When I joined, besides being a consumer traveler and enjoying seeing the world myself, I knew nothing about the ins and outs on the backend. The more you can dive in, the more you can find your passions and your interests and what you like about various industries.
That's what I found with both. I'd be open to joining more industries in the future or even continuing to explore the ones I've already been a part of.
