One of the biggest things is to leverage your network as much as possible. I think a lot of the jobs I've had have come from referrals, or someone has recommended me for a role.
Another point is to always have an open mind. Everyone's career path is a little different. For me, what motivates me is the opportunity to continue to learn and grow.
I've never had a precise dream career path or known exactly what I wanted to do. I was even undeclared in undergrad. So, having an open mind and being willing to try new things helps you discover what you like and dislike.
Being vocal about that has led to amazing opportunities for me. Those networks are key; they're very, very important.
