What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I've learned that networking throughout the organization goes a long way toward helping your career grow. Take an interest in your colleagues in other departments and what they do, and build connections.
Having this channel of communication and rapport with people at all levels of the organization will introduce you to new ideas and opportunities. In my current role as a project and program manager, I have networked with people from over 40 departments.
This has led to me serving on a few advisory boards and also some really exciting collaborative work projects.
