What does a day in the life of a project and program manager look like?
My work as a project and program manager varies from day to day. Today, I caught up on emails before jumping into a team meeting on Zoom.
We were finalizing the logistics for an upcoming conference we're producing. Then, I reviewed project timelines and deliverables and sent status updates to the necessary stakeholders.
Next, I consulted with my direct reports and gave them guidance on their projects. Finally, I worked on some projections for an upcoming program cycle, recorded changes to our budget, and outlined our anticipated needs for the future.
