What have you learned about teaching that you wish someone would have told you before you started?
I'd say I really didn't know what I was getting into, although my mom had been a teacher before when I was very young. But I wish I had known: pace yourself. You'll get there, so trust in yourself.
Ask for mentors. Seek guidance from the really experienced teachers or people around you who are really positive about the field. Stay away from the naysayers if you can. Stay in that space of wanting to grow and not wanting to get stuck in a rut.
