What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
The most important lesson I learned as a teacher was to trust myself. Trusting myself to go into teaching was the right decision for me.
I continued on that path, knowing it wasn't easy and wouldn't be a cakewalk. But I knew in my gut it was the right thing.
I supported that gut feeling with more education to become the best I could be in that position. I kept trusting my decision each time I did more and invested more in myself. Trusting yourself and investing in yourself.
