What are some of your main responsibilities as a teacher?
I'd say a safe, nurturing, supportive, and exciting environment for my students. I taught elementary students: first, second, and third graders.
I think the main responsibility is showing up on time, being well-prepared, and knowing the subjects. It's also important to stay up-to-date on the most current teaching techniques.
This includes working with peers, other teachers, and administrators on a daily basis. So, communicating with parents, teachers, and children is essential. It's not just limited to your classroom; you need to be really on your toes all the time.
