What are the biggest challenges in your current role?

The biggest challenges I face in my current role are related to ambiguity. I work for a growing company, not a startup, but it's still a business trying to mature. This means there might not be established processes for everything, unlike in a larger, established Fortune 500 company.

We often don't know what we don't know, so we're constantly trying to iterate and build out processes ourselves. The business environment is also changing a lot. We have to make decisions with imperfect information and then adapt to this changing environment, coming up with new ways to solve problems.

Secondly, I'm not very proficient in coding. In my analytics role, I only have a general understanding of coding. If I could actually code in something like Python or R, in addition to working in Excel, it could speed things up in my day-to-day work.
