What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?

I wish someone had told me the level of demand to expect from this industry. It is constantly on, and that's not just because entertainment is constantly on, but specifically social media and marketing within entertainment is a 24/7 job.

This includes holidays and weekends. There's really no time away from it, which can be an adjustment. So, learning to set boundaries for yourself is something that took me a few years to figure out.

I watch many people struggle with it when they enter this industry, so I try to give that advice as often as I can: set yourself boundaries. Recognize that we're not saving lives with the work that we're doing, but in turn, use those working hours to change lives with some of the work that we are putting out there.
