What All The Best Coaching's President And CEO Wishes They Knew Before Coaching

Jennifer, as President and CEO of All The Best Coaching, wishes coaching programs provided "more in depth like training on entrepreneurship and the financials" because, while coaching programs extensively cover the coaching process itself, they often neglect the crucial aspects of building a viable business, such as "how to create an effective financial model." She also noted that developing "patience and determination" has been important because, contrary to initial expectations, building a business takes time.

What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?

I wish someone had told me more about how to create an effective financial model. In coaching programs, you're taught a lot about the process and how to coach, but there's very limited training on how to build an actual viable business.

I'd say definitely more in-depth training on entrepreneurship and the financials. This includes how to get your coaching business set up. Once you're done with the coaching program, you have to figure a lot of that stuff out for yourself.

This should really be the foundation, so definitely having a financial model to follow. I also thought things would go really fast, and that's been a whole other story.

So, just having patience has been key. Thankfully, I do a lot of meditation and yoga, so I've developed my patience skills quite substantially. But definitely that patience and determination.
