What skills are most important for a job like yours?

Organization is extremely important. Time management is also crucial because everything still has to get done. This includes teaching, lesson planning, and administrative tasks.

Creativity is vital; you don't want to teach the same lesson the same way twice. You want to come up with creative ways to teach so that students stay engaged. It's harder on Zoom, so creativity plays a big role.

Flexibility is also key, especially when teaching English learners at level one. They don't always understand the first explanation of a grammar concept. Sometimes, I have to come up with another way to explain the same thing on the fly so they are actually learning what I'm trying to teach.
