Who thrives in industry?

How would you typically describe someone who would thrive in the healthcare industry?

I think in the healthcare industry, somebody who has a very balanced schedule, at least in private practice, would thrive. That's really important because if you're constantly seeing patients and don't have time to catch up on other things, it can take a toll.

Patient care is emotionally draining, and it takes a lot to care for someone. Every patient has different needs, so the way we provide care is constantly changing. We're not robots, and we don't give the same amount of care to everyone.

That constant change can be exhausting and cause burnout. So, I think people who thrive have a good balance in their schedule.

They also have a practice where there are repeat patients. Once you build a relationship with patients, they refer their friends and family, which is very rewarding and how you grow your practice.
