Q7: Favorite parts - industry

When I was looking at different industries for my MBA, I didn't necessarily expect to stay in financial services. However, I interned at Bank of America and was grateful to accept an offer there. I currently work there.

What I found about financial services is that it's an industry that includes everyone. Everyone uses some type of financial services product, whether it's something as basic as your everyday checking account or debit card, to more complex things like different investment options or self-guided investing.

As a marketer, your client is everyone. You have to consider different demographics, social groups, and ages. Everyone uses some type of financial services product.

Therefore, you get to create marketing content that has to appeal to everyone, to such a wide range of clients. I really enjoy that aspect of working in financial services.
