Biggest Challenges Faced By An Owner At Precision Cosmetics
Camille's biggest challenge as owner of Precision Cosmetics in Tucson is maintaining a consistent client flow, especially during the summer's "snowbird" exodus, which necessitates constant innovation in promotions and social media content; "always having to think of different things to get people in," including exploring subscription models and consistently generating engaging Instagram posts.

What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
My biggest challenge is probably just always getting new clientele in. Specifically in Tucson, we have a big snowbird community. A lot of people leave during the summer, so it's partly seasonal for aesthetics because our population drops significantly then.
It's so hot here that many people go back to their other homes in different states and return to Tucson during the winter. Our winter is super busy, as is fall and spring. That's a challenge during the summertime to make sure all my girls are still staying busy.
We run promotions, but it's really about getting new people in the door. We definitely stay busy, and I'm super grateful for that. You're always having to think of different things to get people in, like new promotions or doing something more of a subscription model for medical-grade skincare.
It's always about coming up with different ideas. Honestly, Instagram is a challenge. I wish there was someone that could just give me an idea every day for what to post, because it is hard to always come up with new content.
Luckily, because there are many girls here, and everyone has different ideas, we try to meet and talk about ideas for the next week. But mainly, it's always having a new influx and flow of clientele, and then always having to keep up with social media.
