What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
During undergrad, I volunteered a lot to be out in the community and make sure my career goals were known. I also tried to remain open to different opportunities and leverage career services, which I think is super important.
Not many universities and colleges have career services, and if they do, it's often limited due to the ratio of career advisors to students. So, I believe leveraging the people around you, like career services and LinkedIn, is crucial.
During my time at UCLA Anderson pursuing my master's, networking and talking to people truly set me up for success. Networking is really important.
I've said this a lot during interviews and will say it again: leveraging the people around you, creating great relationships, and continuing to learn are key. Putting yourself in opportunities for growth and asking questions is the most important advice I can give anyone.
