How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I would say people who know how to think outside of the box, but also stay within trends. I think that's honestly a challenge for anyone that works in PR.

But at the end of the day, one of your main roles is to secure coverage for your client. And in this day and age, that's something that's a lot harder to do.

So if you know how to tell your client's story and deliver your client's message while staying in the lines of ongoing trends, you'll be successful. Obviously, you need to know what people want to read, what people want to learn about, and what reporters want to cover.

But also clearly deliver your client's narrative. So if you know how to do that and deliver that in a creative way that kind of catches a reporter's eye, or gets people interested when they read it, you'll end up being successful at the end of the day.

I feel like learning how to be creative, but also stay within the ongoing media trends and worldly trends, that's how you're going to be successful.
