What is your biggest challenge in your current role?

For me, because my agency is tech-forward, I feel like I only know the basic things about tech. When I first started, it was hard to understand the tech lingo and jargon. I also had to get accustomed to tech journalism and coverage because I never really read those outlets.

Learning about tech outlets I had never heard of was something I had to get used to. Sometimes, your client has a product launch, and it's really hard to understand the concepts. You need to understand them if you're trying to pitch that to the media.

You can't expect the media to understand if you don't understand your client's product. For me, that's definitely been a challenge.

I've learned that it's okay and it takes time to understand these things. You have to sit down and do the research, and it may take time. Now, I've reached a point where I've learned so much and gotten much better at digesting tech media.

It definitely takes time, but I feel like that's something I've had to overcome. Even now, if a client has a product launch, I still have to take the time to understand it. But now, I know how to do that process. I feel like I've overcome that challenge in my role.
