How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
The people who thrive most in banking or finance are, at a base level, analytical. They can research things, read, and analyze financials.
Aside from that, I think the best skills are being sociable and being able to talk to people. Even if you don't have the answer, there's always somebody out there that does.
It's important to be able to reach out to people without being worried or scared. You need to ask questions to get those answers. I think having the ability to just be yourself, be sociable, and think critically are the best skills for this industry.
