Q6: Biggest challenge in your role?
What is your biggest challenge in your current role as vice president?
I would say the biggest challenge in my role as vice president is overcoming "no's" and objections. My role is heavily sales-focused, and I can be cold calling for many hours or days on end to win more business. Throughout that process, there are usually a lot of "no's."
Keeping a positive attitude and a growth mindset is super important. It's challenging because sometimes, after hearing the 10th, 20th, or 30th "no" in a row, it can be quite discouraging to continue searching for that "yes." I would say that is one of the biggest challenges in this role as a vice president.
