What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
My main responsibilities involve a lot of program management. I act as the point person, bringing people in from different areas of the business.
For things like network infrastructure or even complex financial models, I'm not the expert. My job is to ensure all these different areas communicate with each other.
For example, if we need to set up a network system, I'll involve the relevant team. I then make sure the project cost is aligned, recorded, and incorporated into our business plan and development structure.
I also meet with vendors to ensure everything at a Walmart site or store aligns with their practices. This includes confirming that the vendor adheres to promised timelines and contractual obligations.
It's a lot of general upkeep and making sure things run smoothly. I also handle a lot of project planning, writing out details, and creating test plans.
While those tasks can be quite detailed, at a high level, that's essentially my day-to-day and my current role.
