Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.
I studied a Bachelor of Business and Commerce, majoring in management and organizational behavior. That was over four years, and during that time, I worked most of the time I was at college. I was working in retail, which gave me skills around people and the workforce.
While I didn't do any internships in college, I was certainly working. After finishing college, I did an internship related to my career goals. I interned at a services and infrastructure company that built and maintained roads, so it was also engineering.
I was the assistant to the health and safety manager on that site. Ultimately, they offered me a job at that company as the health and safety assistant. I then progressed from health and safety assistant to health and safety manager.
One of the companies that partnered with this company offered me a job as a health and safety manager. From there, I progressed into sustainability.
